On a personal level, I have suffered through a serious back problem which I believe has given me a greater level of understanding and empathy with back pain sufferers in general. A keen sportswoman and adventurer, I am also empathic with those struggling to return to their activities and have good understanding of the detailed level of rehabilitation required to achieve high level functionality post injury. These interests also lead me into working as a co-trainer on expedition medicine courses on Dartmoor and accompanying expeditions as a Physiotherapist. |

As a qualified Personal Trainer and sports massage therapist as well as Chartered Physiotherapist I can provide a holistic approach to the rehabilitation process and advice on getting back into training. I use my own enthusiasm of fitness to encourage others to choose a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise. I have competed at County level in Athletics, National level in women's Rugby and Rowed for my University. I also play competitive Hockey and Tennis.
Having spent the past two years working as a private Physiotherapist in New Zealand, I have gained a wealth of expertise from their Physiotherapists to share with my UK colleagues. I am also a fully qualified Pilates teacher and integrate my Pilates knowledge into the rehabilitation of my patients. Outside of work I am a keen surfer and swimmer.
